Maurizio Zanella 1999

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

It is the first wine to have the author’s signature on the label, Maurizio Zanella, producer and president of Ca ‘del Bosco. At a time of the renaissance of Italian enology, this Bordeaux blend based on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc wants to make its contribution to the production of high quality: highly selected grapes that are vinified separately and aged in small oak barrels. It discerns a vigorous, granite wine of great importance and longevity.

It is the perfect synthesis of the history of the winery, its values of excellence and the vocation of the Franciacorta area to also produce great reds for aging.

In the glass it has an intense ruby red color with an intense coloring mass.

The bouquet expresses aromas of small berries and light notes of blueberry and blackberry jams. A full fruit, accompanied by notes of black spice, balsamic and in conclusion slightly herbaceous notes to underline the presence of the two Cabernets. A wine with a balanced, deep taste with nuances linked to chocolate and tobacco that enhance its complexity even more. Pleasant and well integrated tannic texture. Freshness in conclusion, which captures the desire for another sip.
