Description

Vin de la Neu is the result of the experimental project of Nicola Biasi, an internationally renowned oenologist who decided to stop working in third wineries after making many of them great and to concentrate on his own project which is certainly ambitious but also important from a scientific point of view.

The choice of planting a “resistant” grape such as Johanniter at more than 800 meters above sea level, where the famous apples of the Val di Non are typically grown even though 150 years ago wine was already being made, itself encourages to deepen the project in detail. Beyond the choice of a grape resulting from a cross that today gives extraordinary results against cryptogams and fungal diseases, the very high density (16,600 plants per hectare), the sapling training system and the total absence of treatments in the vineyard are also of interest, with all the operations left to the manual skill of the man.

In tasting Vin de la Neu presents itself with an intense straw yellow color, bright and with a greenish nail, introducing an olfactory bouquet where citrus fruits are predominant together with hints of pineapple followed by herbaceous scents that recall hay and slight hints of white flowers. The sip is direct, vibrant and vertical, with a predominant acidity that cleans the mouth well and a high sapidity that closes the sip granting a prolonged persistence.

Vin de la Neu is a wine that intrigues in a first place for the project behind it, for the research and the difficulty of realization but, once discovered, then passionates the taster and captures him definitely.

Emblem of a new collaboration initiated by Winefully, it is offered in the classic format and exclusively for Italy in the rarest Magnum, respectively produced in only 941 and 30 units!
