Azelia

For over 100 years the family has devotedly cultivated native grapes: Dolcetto, Barbera and mainly Nebbiolo, designed to become representative wines of the hilly area famous throughout the world.
Founded in 1920 by Lorenzo Scavino who, with perseverance and will, bottled the first wines and, also thanks to his son, managed to have them exported, thus starting to enjoy some success.
To date, approximately 16 hectares are owned by the fifth generation who carry on the family savoir-faire with extreme accuracy, in every production phase.
Philosophy of attention to the smallest details, both in the vineyard with low yields and selection of grapes, and in the cellar respecting tradition in the details. The vines are therefore considered the protagonist and brought to maximum quality with several passages in the vineyard during the green season and during the harvest with selection of the perfect bunches, or rather berries. This leads to the production of wines of excellent drinkability and balance, these are the two cornerstones of the company.
