Bellavista

The name of Cantina Bellavista is a declaration of love for the land it stands on. The ‘beautiful view’, is of Lake Iseo and the Po Valley, which can be admired from the Moretti family’s land, where Vittorio Moretti decided to found his winery in 1977, later expanding it as time went on, until it encompassed 198 hectares of vineyards.
The history of Bellavista tells the tale of creating the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. It involved restoring and using traditional presses that guarantee that processing is elegant, delicate and full of finesse. It respects the rhythms of nature and the land but also the ability to be creative, as happened in 1984 when the first Franciacorta Satèn was produced. Now that it is recognised by the consortium, it has become one of the top products for all wineries in Franciacorta.
The combined vision of Vittorio Moretti and talent of oenologist Mattia Vezzola, who has been with the company since 1981, have given rise to their signature style: wines full of elegance and of excellent quality.
