Futura 14 - Vespa

Winery founded in 2014 with the motto “Winemakers for passion”, in a place considered the cradle of the Mediterranean: Puglia.
The climate enjoyed by this area, with sea breezes, is perfect for growing vines and producing quality grapes rich in aromas.
The company is distributed over approximately 46 hectares in total, of which 34 are vineyards, located in Manduria and the surrounding areas, home of the famous Primitivo grape variety.
The idea was born from the passion for wine of Bruno Vespa, supported by his sons Alessandro and Federico, a television journalist who approached this world in the 1970s thanks to Luigi Veronelli. The family is therefore the owner of Masseria Li Reni.
A great project can only be carried forward thanks to great people, such as the internationally renowned oenologist Riccardo Cotarella, a consultant for wine production.
Bruno’s vision is a bit romantic: he loves to caress the leaves of the plants and the grapes, he loves to know the stories of the people who take care of the vineyards and who meticulously follow every production process, from pressing to bottling, up to the emotions that arise during the tasting of the wine in the glass.
A company born precisely from the passion for this world, Bruno wanted his children at his side to be sure that in the future they will be able to take the reins with the same passion as him, hence the name Futura, with the year of foundation next to it.
The wines produced are born with the aim of mainly enhancing the local varieties, and making a great Primitivo; they are deep and very drinkable wines, also suitable for aging.
