Biondi Santi’s Brunello di Montalcino is a legendary wine, famous all over the world, which has its roots in a distant past. A myth that has been perpetuated from year to year, since the first label bearing the word Brunello was released and which, from harvest to harvest, renews the vision that inspired Clemente Santi in creating the first legendary Brunello over a century ago.

A particular vintage, not as excellent as the previous two, with no rain and a very hot and dry summer. It should be emphasized that the same grapes from old vines usually used for the reserve, which was not produced for this harvest, were used for this production. We can therefore consider this Brunello a step higher than usual.

Vinified in vitrified concrete containers with indigenous yeasts and subsequently aged for three years in Slavonian oak barrels

In tasting it shows a ruby color with slight garnet reflections, accompanied by a broad olfactory bouquet that ranges from notes of sweet and crunchy cherry to thyme, rosemary with further hints of tobacco. On the palate it reveals a complex and refined, delicate personality, with soft tannins and a freshness that makes it alive and clean in the mouth. Pleasant wine right away.
