Born from the inspiration of Sacha Lichine and his vision to create an exceptional rosé, Whispering Angel is now one of the most recognized wines in the world. Legend has it that the name “Whispering Angel” was inspired by a unique echo heard in the cellars of Château d’Esclans, as if an angel were whispering to the vines. This poetic detail has given the wine an aura of mystery and romance, which quickly spread among its admirers worldwide.

Made from grapes sourced from the finest parcels in Provence—primarily Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle—this wine is harvested exclusively during the coolest hours of the day to preserve the grapes’ aromatic integrity. The grapes are then gently pressed, and the must ferments at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, a choice that helps to retain the wine’s freshness and fruity aromas.

Unlike many rosés, Whispering Angel undergoes very brief aging in oak, enhancing its purity and vivacity: a modern, refined rosé that fully expresses the nuances of Provence.

In appearance, it captivates with its pale, luminous pink color, almost ethereal. On the nose, it immediately reveals unexpected complexity, with notes of fresh fruit like strawberries and melon, complemented by floral hints and a delicate touch of spice.
