The 2006 Wine Oscar for the best white wine in Italy, the Mayor’s Selection Gold Medal (Città del Vino), the Gold Medal in the Femmes et Vins du Monde competition… need we go on? We are looking at one of the best white wines in Italy, with an organoleptic complexity and personality that exemplify the best of what the Furore area can offer.

Here, in the company of Marisa Cuomo, we find ourselves in extreme conditions, both in the vineyard, with terraces found above an altitude of 500 metres overlooking the sea, and in the cellar, dug into a rock, encompassing a total of only 10 hectares and the production of a few thousand bottles. Fiorduva, therefore, is a wine that tastes of rock and the sea and carries with it the fragrance of the sun; a heroic wine.

A blend of autochthonous pre-phylloxera grapes and representative autochthonous grapes from the Furore area, this wine never ceases to amaze. Even those who have been drinking it for years and already know its golden hue, intensified by ageing in wood, and its bouquet of apricot, gorse and exotic fruit, however, are enchanted every time they taste a new vintage.

It is enveloping on the palate and the apricot returns, this time accompanied by raisins and candied fruit, whose aroma persists and literally makes us fall in love.
