The Luce estate is the story of Frescobaldi’s dream of making great wines with national and international grapes in Montalcino. The 11 hectares that make up Tenuta Luce, registered in the Brunello di Montalcino register, gave birth to Luce Brunello, the first in Italy to win – in 1980 – the designation of Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin.

This wine enchants in the glass with its beautiful, bright ruby ​​red. This Brunello provides rich sensations during the olfactory examination, opening with fruity notes of cherries in spirits, cassis, blackberries, black mulberry and then moving on to hints of spices, with balsamic and Mediterranean shrubs. Such is the pleasantness of the bouquet that it makes you want to come back to also appreciate those tertiary notes that are typical of a great Sangiovese. In the mouth, the wine reveals its deep, gloomy, introspective and aristocratic nature, boosted by its minerality and white mint. It provides a savoury, soft sip, without excesses or sharp edges.

This is a thoughtful wine that does not want to please everyone immediately, but that wishes to be appreciated sip after sip, glass after glass.
