Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva. On the highest hills of the CastelGiocondo estate, where wine has been produced since the 1800s, we find a small Sangiovese vineyard that confers elegance, personality and longevity on this Frescobaldi Brunello Riserva.

In the glass, the characteristics of this great Sangiovese are immediately apparent: its intense ruby ​​red colour with garnet highlights, the majestic personality that emerges from taking the time to inhale its bouquet – it is intense, with great and varied complexity. Notes of small fruits of the undergrowth, sour cherries, cassis, raspberries and citrus peel prevail immediately, followed by delicate balsamic notes, incense and tea leaf. In the mouth it is clean and crisp, providing a lovely freshness. The tannic texture is dense, with smooth and velvety tannins, good balance, and a long and persistent finish.
