Born from vineyards at 350 meters above sea level in the Negrar area, on limestone-basaltic soils, Recioto della Valpolicella is a passito, whose grapes are harvested and left to dry on racks until around the end of January. Then they are pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, at the end the wine is left to refine in oak barrels for about 5-6 years.

When tasted, the wine has an intense and dark ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose it releases complex and intense hints of cherries and black cherries in jam, sweet spices, dried flowers, liquorice and mint. In the mouth the sip is enveloping and velvety with an extremely long finish. Further notes of ripe and wild fruit, balsamic hints and blood orange emerge. Perfect in combination at the end of a meal with desserts and cheeses, but excellent for meditation, letting yourself be carried away by the succession of notes it offers.
