Descrizione

Blanc de Blanc champagne by Henri Giraud is a unique pure Chardonnay.

The maison’s distinctive feature is that it uses only grapes from the single Grand Cru of Ay, where the cellar is located. In addition, since 2016, the producer has undertaken the exclusive use of wood and amphorae for the refinement of its wines. It is a rich and at the same time delicate Champagne that captures the generosity of the Ay terroir.

This champagne is fermented in oak barrels, then rests in the bottle for the second fermentation for at least 60 months, then it is dosed.

When tasted, the wine is an intense golden yellow color with very fine perlage. On the nose, a rich and intense succession of aromas: ripe fruit with apricot, peach and mandarin, pineapple, a spicy touch, a well-integrated and never invasive note of wood, acacia honey and hazelnut. In the mouth the wine is soft and full-bodied, energetic on the palate, you can perceive fruity and citrus notes accompanied by a nice salinity, with a very long finish.

A champagne where complexity and drinkability merge and speak in unison. To be uncorked on special occasions, with great aging potential.
