38 days of maceration, 10 months in steel and the rest in wood as in line with the related DOCG, for an “overproduction” of about 3800 bottles: these are the numbers of 2016, a new and great vintage for Alan Manley’s Barolo, which continues to win acclaim from international critics and is preparing, with the known humility, to follow in the footsteps of his teacher Bartolo Mascarello.

For those who love the old school Barolo, as a blend of several vineyards and aging in different size barrels, it will be inevitable to appreciate this nectar which can only be improved by the time and constitutes a real “gem” for the most demanding cellars.
