The name of the Royale Réserve Non Dosé of Philipponnat refers to the family’s ancestors, important suppliers to Louis XIV.

Cuvée elaborated using some of the most authoritative vineyards of the Maison, coming only from Premier and Grand Crus with a majority of Pinot Noir.

The wines are vinified then assembled with up to 25-30% of reserve wines, the wine ages with the solera method and refines on the yeasts for a period ranging from 3 to 4 years, disgorgement takes place and is not dosed.

When tasted, the wine in the glass has a pale gold color, with fine and persistent perlage. On the nose floral notes of lime and hawthorn, citrus hints of lemon and orange peel. The citrus notes, fresh apple and freshly baked bread return in the mouth. The sip is full of freshness for this champagne of balance between aromatic precision, minerality and vinosity.
