It is a blend that is never the same, but varies according to the vintage and the intuition of its producer. Andrea Franchetti is the twin of his wines: rich, concentrated and deep.

In the glass the wine is ruby red in color with a very concentrated mass, with already some hints of garnet in the rim, and consistent. Taking it to the nose one can immediately appreciate notes of a crisp dark-skinned fruit, plums, blueberries, blackberries; opening up reveals more complex scents that hint at medicinal herbs; the second nose gives hints of dried flowers and aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is velvety, enveloping and soft, the sweet and elegant tannins forming a dense and compact texture. Also well discernible is freshness in the form of juicy blood orange along with iron notes.
The evolution of this great wine will continue in the bottle for at least the next ten years.
