Descrizione

As noble as the origins of the Valentini family, who have been settled in Abruzzo since the seventeenth century and have contributed a number of prominent personalities to the local community, Trebbiano is one of the most important Italian whites, and was already awarded the title of best wine in Italy in 2011 for the 2007 vintage.

The pinnacle of the expression of one of the most widely cultivated white grapes in central Italy, the Trebbiano di Valentini has deservedly become a legendary wine, one of those to be jealously kept in the cellar and passed on to future generations for wine education purposes. Historically cultivated for hundreds of years in the Aprutino area and by generations of the Valentini family that have followed one another over the centuries, it fully conveys the artisan philosophy of Francesco Paolo, whom we find at the helm of the company today. Manual harvesting, the exclusive use of the best grapes, spontaneous fermentation, indigenous yeasts, uncontrolled temperature, the absence of clarifications or filtrations: these are just some of the typical phases of what is behind this masterpiece, characterised by complexity, generosity and breadth, with a very long, acidic and savoury finish, confirming its great ageing potential.

It contains verticality and momentum that translate into a majestic wine that is direct, powerful but also delicate in its complexity.
