Poggio ai Merli is 100% Merlot, with a Tuscan soul. The nose immediately reveals its origins with that scent of humus that differentiates it from other territories where this international grape is grown. This is its precise territorial note. The olfactory range is extensive, with varied and refined traits, with fruits of the forest, a balsamic note, and spiciness and toasted notes. The sip is soft, structured and full, with a salty aftertaste. The vineyards are cultivated at 350-450 metres above sea level on limestone soil.

This red is aged in 100% new barriques for a period ranging from 24 to 30 months, plus 12 months in the bottle.

This is a Merlot that speaks Tuscan; elegant and noble like a country gentleman.
