The Sanctissimus has existed for more than a century, yet it is always a constant surprise and wonder. The “Prescelto” (chosen one) of the cellar!

The grapes used come from vines planted in the 19th century and are pure Pinot Blanc, grown on an extremely steep slope between 350 and 400 m above sea level, in a south-facing vineyard in the shadow of the church of Missiano, one of the most ancient people from Alto Adige. Very low yields and grapes harvested and selected strictly by hand.

A full-bodied and refined wine, which macerates and ages on the fine lees in terracotta amphora for a few months. Many might think that it is a reference to follow fashions, but this bottle is an extract of the territory that exceeds all expectations.

When tasted, the wine appears intense and brilliant straw yellow in the glass. On the nose it offers a complex aromatic experience with notes of ripe apple, nectarine, floral and spicy hints with also alpine herbs and sage, and a minty nuance on the finish. On the palate it is juicy, creamy and dense, you can perceive a beautiful mineral note and an intriguing acidity. With a very persistent finish, this wine will give a unique experience to those who taste it.

Of absolute elegance, Sanctissimus has the ability to age for over 20 years.
