Descrizione

Sophisticated, elegant, refined, accompanied by scents of spices and licorice, soft and persuasive tannins… we are in Piedmont, in the commune of La Morra, and we are about to uncork an extraordinary Barolo that has been punctually winning acclaim from national and international wine critics for years.

Barolo Riserva Rocche dell’Annunziata is a Wine from Paolo Scavino’s winery that fully represents that passion and devotion for the land that inspired its founder back in 1921.
Nebbiolo in particular finds a place of honor at this winery: maximum attention is paid to this grape variety, which is interpreted and exalted in order to communicate all its minimal characteristics.

Riserva Rocche dell’Annunziata is certainly an excellent expression of Piedmont: a prestigious Wine born from the oldest vineyards in the area whose characteristics are amplified by the long aging in oak barrels, a maturation that leaves the mark of a sophisticated tradition.
Fascinating, in the goblet it appears with its typical bright garnet red color and orange reflections. The nose intoxicates with its spicy and balsamic scents, tempered by hints of red fruits and licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, graceful and pleasantly fresh, with robust tannins that make it soft and balanced.

Great if you want to give a gift, even more so if it will be left in the basement to be rediscovered in a few years.
